The breakfast was wonderful except day one! The yogurt bar with the granola and berries, sausages, and the carb options were very good. The drink options were great as well. The free waters in the cooler were very nice every day when we left and returned to the hotel for us to stay hydrated without the added expense! The front desk staff were so helpful and nice! From needing a high chair each morning to getting us a crib for our child, they were kind and resourceful. The room was very spacious and we loved the big open window wall. The view was delightful! The proximity to the metro station was so helpful in traveling around DC. The rooftop pool was very neat and enjoyable! Parking - the Valet parking is very expensive (like $75/night), but there is a parking lot across the street for $15.50/night. It requires a short walk, but the savings was so worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for your next DC stay! The cornhash can be removed from the menu and the round eggs were too peppery. The comforter when lifted up and the tv or sunshine in the background reveal that it is quite dirty. The street noise is pretty loud at night with emergency vehicle sirens, but they do provide a noise machine in the bedroom. It didn't wake us up, but it would for a lighter sleeper.

Staff very kind and helpful Ran out of towel at pool

The front desk attendant was amazing and very helpful. He helped us with all of our needs. His name is Jerome. We stayed one night in the beginning of the week and returned on our trip back about a week later. He was amazing both days. The construction on the floor inside the building and the ice machines not working.

The hotel is in the busy and vibrant NoMa neighborhood, and I got a room with a good view looking north from above. I could relax on the comfortable Hyatt couch as usual, and the breakfast coffee was nice. The staff were friendly.

The breakfast tasted good. There should be halal food option so more people can enjoy their breakfast. There should be halal food option. The egg options should be warm and not cold.

Breakfast was nice. Room was not family friendly, glass doors to bathroom. Challenging to use the restroom quietly and privately.
-
Nice and comfy No free parking, not close to main attractions, no water pressure

Place was not maintained great, but the staff was SUPER helpful and nice.

My issue with this hotel is how the rooms are maintained. The room I stayed in (515) is missing blinds. Just had privacy screen. So full sun light in the room. Bath shower curtains too short that when someone takes shower it floods the bathroom. TV channels are only the over the air channels.

If you are visiting White House and other Capital places this is a good place to stay. Parking is very limited, Valet parking is expensive (75$) but right opposite to the property there is [public parking cost 15$/24 hr and its convenient. Breakfast is available and is good, there is a small bar with limited option and limited quick bites menu. Value for money. Nice big rooms and bathrooms.

Breakfast Lobby space Location Dear Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, overall, my family and I were not satisfied with our experience, mainly for the following reasons: 1. **Room cleaning and housekeeping:** During our four-night stay, our room was cleaned and serviced only once. Even on that occasion, the cleaning was incomplete. The floor was not properly swept or vacuumed, and additional towels were not provided. For a four-night stay, we expected more consistent and thorough housekeeping service. 2. **Missed first night due to a medical emergency:** We had to miss the first night of our reservation because my son suffered a medical emergency on the day we were supposed to travel and needed to be taken to the hospital. We contacted the hotel and sent two separate emails requesting either a refund or credit for the unused night. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response to either email. Given the circumstances, we were hoping for at least some consideration and a response from the hotel. 3. **Swimming pool:** The swimming pool shown in the reservation information and photos appeared to be a large, well-equipped pool. However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find that the actual pool at this location was extremely small and very different from what was shown in the reservation information. This was particularly disappointing for our family. We understand that unexpected situations can occur, but taken together, these issues made our stay considerably less enjoyable than we expected. I would appreciate it if management could review our concerns, particularly the missed night due to the medical emergency, and consider providing an appropriate refund or credit as a gesture of goodwill. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Behnam
