Foothills Inn

The rooms were clean, although a bit worn and outdated. Unfortunately, the staff were unfriendly and distant, which made the overall experience less pleasant.

Somewhat outdated, but still equipped with what we needed for one night.

One of the bedspreads was full of stains and the hairdryer didn't work. The breakfast choices aren't real food. The room fridge worked and the tub was clean

Housekeeping staff was mediocre.They never made the beds.We were there for 3 nights.They did replace the towels, but did not empty the trash cans. Themessage light on the phonemessage light on the phone kept blinking, I called the front desk, they did not know how to turn it off.

Clean and great location. Very friendly staff. Don’t plan on a breakfast, it’s not their thing.

Good location. Reasonable pricing.

Rooms were large and we appreciated the desk and bed was comfortable. Wish I would have known the blankets were hiding in the dresser. I got cold with just the sheets and comforter was uncomfortable. The $200 incidental charge was ridiculous and I think impacts the stay for people. There were labels on everything telling us what it would cost us if we took it which is just a weird vibe. I understand they likely has some bad experiences but it is just kind of weird.

Very courteous and welcoming staff at the check in. The lady in the morning was not so nice. It’s an old place with old carpets collecting dust and smells overtime. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is just ok

Great room, great service

The ice machine was broken so had to purchase our own ice from the gas station. The building is old but is clean.

Overall everything was great. However they could update the sheets on the bed. That is a hefty price to pay for a room with sheets from the 70’s.

Friendly staff. Somehow I ended up with a room for travelers with pets because it was the Sturgis weekend. So it smelled like dogs but wasn't horrible. Basic decent hotel.

Location Bed too soft, carpets smelled musty. In addition, I told them we has a service dog upon check-in and on the day before we left the day manager came to my room and said do you have a dog here. I replied yes, I told the blonde woman when I checked in to the hotel. In addition, the dog was coming in and out with us daily, multiple times a day, for the past 6 days. She was verbally aggressive with me.
