Excellent location Bed severely squeezed every time you moved, large tub was great but water pressure was so low - took an hour to fill, then cold by then end; shower head holder broken, so we could not really take a functional shower; wires hanging from ceiling because they did not replace the smoke detector before we arrived. We ended up staying in the room without the smoke detector. And they said they would fix it if we could stay near the room between 12-4pm, which was the whole day. And we had only 3 days in Monterey! They only refunded us for the 1 night we left early, because I could not take any more sleepless nights. I asled multiple times for a partial refund for all the trouble, and they refused and never answered any of my messages. Unacceptable. Do not go here.

Good

The main issue for me travelling as a solo female for work was feeling exposed to the 'street' , the rooms are off the car park, there is no control of who can enter the complex and this made me feel a little unsafe. Overall, though the Inn is well placed on the edge of town. It is near Captain and Stoker and Alta for brilliant breakfast options and Stokes Abode and Cella for superb dinner options. Its a good option to consider.

the host is pretty nice guy , pre and after living communication all good . the room is big and yard has enough space for parking suggested nice breakfast nearby , not too far from everything you need to visit Monterey

Location No hot water for showers

The location was perfect. We were close to everything.

A lot of money for a tiny room without any thing more than a bed. If you don’t get there early there is no parking for you even though they say there is.

I really enjoy the spacious room and the juices in the lobby.

The location is great, but when asked for towels and room service things didn't go as planned. Also, the one parking spot available for customers was not accessible to us which created difficulty, as this is a busy downtown area with many parking restraints.

Super clean, spacious and safe! Great deal and the office staff were very friendly.

Appreciated the air con, coffee and cold drinks. We loved our time in Monterey.

Close to the pier for whale watching - walkable Room was smaller than others we had stayed at, but okay for 2 adults and a child.
