This hotel was so nice, the bar was beautiful, the room was super clean, staff were very helpful if you needed anything. I missed breakfast both days I slept in but the dining hall looked super cool too!

We had a wonderful stay here despite having some plumping issues in the first room we were given. Upon notifying staff of the issues we were having, we got upgraded to a larger room at no cost. The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. Both rooms were nice and clean. The free breakfast was also fantastic. I would definitely stay here again!

The art deco-inspired lobby decor was unique and well done. We especially appreciated relaxing in the lounge - the service and drinks were great.

Our stay was fantastic! Our room was clean and well stocked. The facility was beautiful with a lot of great art. It was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is centrally located to many downtown amenities.

Spa facilities also great.. she apologised in advance for some ongoing works around the gym and hot tub area but that did not impact us at all - hot sauna and the hottest steam room I've ever been in! No room service but deliveries right to your door (some hotels make you go downstairs which isn't great when you're feeling lazy :-)). Perfect location for walking around this wonderful city with its magical evening light and great buildings. Really nothing but great things to say.. kettle was brought up to our room immediately when we asked for one... Marred a little at the end by a rather unnecessarily unfriendly woman at the front desk when we checked out at 5am.. maybe she was tired, but that's no excuse. Anyway, her bad vibes were definitely not enough to ruin an otherwise wonderful stay! Thanks Des Lux.. we'll be back!

Nice hotel, but terribly noisy (mostly due to motorcycles driving by without mufflers). Also, parking in a paid ramp across the street is a real pain.
