The location is great. It is a 15 minute drive to Capitol Hill in DC. The property offers room service! Something that is rare these days, room service and two restaurants on either side of the Hotel. You will not go hungry. I reserved a king room. The room was incredibly spacious. There was a full-sized dining table, clothing wardrobe, microwave, refrigerator and of course flat screen television. My stay there was comfortable, quiet and accommodating.

Excellent location, within minutes walking distance to the metro station and 24/7 open store and restaurant Rooms are a bit dated but clean, for the price can’t complain

Stayed here for America250. After reading many reviewes I decided this was the best budget option and was super happy with the accomedation. Budget in is located a 2min walk from Naylor metro station which was super convenient. Even though its on the rougher side of town. I felt pretty safe walking to and from the metro to the Inn. The owner takes very good care of this place. While yes it may be dated, our room was clean, no weird smells or bugs. Had a brand new full size fridge, microwave, the water pressure was good in the shower. Room was huge and spacious. King size bed. Security had me feeling safe. Pleanty of cameras inside and outside the building. Need a key card to get inside the hotel. I had read reviews of homeless sleeping inside in the halls. I did not see any homeless near or on property grounds nor any people that made my stay uncomfortable. The price for the value is unbeatable. The owner also called us ahead of time just to remind us of checkout time. Also the cleaning people were very attentive to help us with quick cleaning, extra towels and toiletrees. They were very nice as well. Lots of families I noticed staying here. No shady people. I would definitly stay here again if on a return trip to DC. Not necessiarly complaints but this place is dated but very well taken care of. It did not affect the quality of my stay. Some furniture did have cigarette burns, but the room did not have cigarette smell. No tv in the room but thats okay with me because the wifi was excellent.

Unmaintained and broken building. Lack of basic needs.

Very comfortable and close to the metro

I liked the friendly staff, comfortableness overall was okay, the A/C worked very well I slept like a baby. The beds were comfortable for me but might be stiff for others. I also was surprised by the quietness of the whole place, there weren't any disturbing noises from other guests. Everything was clean. There was only one outlet available across the room from the bedside which was inconvenient. The free wifi didnt work the whole time, I had to use my mobile data as well as my Hotspot to use my computer. There was no light by the door so I had to rely on the bathroom light to see anything over there.

Wash cloths old and need to replace. You needed to put at least 2 bars of soap. People don’t share soap. Not even a bottle of water in refrigerator.

Large spacious room, comfortable beds, motel was very quiet making it easy to sleep, lots of free parking on site, room service was good, good water pressure, cheap rates, close to DC. Would absolutely stay here again. There were 2 cute motel cats, too! Friendly staff. The bathroom door didn't close/lock, the room had awful lighting, the TV was pretty dated but still worked! One room key stopped working. Only had 2 bars of soap available in bathroom. Very bare bones but super worth it!

I was able to check-in early, which was really fantastic. I like that it's literally next to the Metro station, and a 24 hour convenience/food place that was pretty decent. The room smelled of stale cigarettes, there were burn marks on the sheets/blankets/pillow cases, and didn't look like the room had been deep cleaned in quite some time. The lighting was very dim and made it difficult to see anything, and one of my lights didn't work at all. The walls were stained and tattered. For $100 a night, I was looking for gold, but maybe something less less snuff film feeling. TV remote buttons were very difficult to press. The AC unit looked like it had been broken off quite a few times and I was worried it would break.

It was cleaner than most motels I’ve been to, not luxurious but great for what it is. No bugs, and the outside was clean and not full of trash. Very friendly staff too. Not very good lighting in the room, and it was definitely a worn down place.

Convenient location without the high end price. It has free parking and felt like a safe location. Our AC periodically blew out hot air so the room didn’t always stay cool.

Check in was at 3pm instead of the standard 4pm which was really nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the A/C worked great! The location was absolutely perfect in relation to catching the Metro into DC (only a 3 minute walk and a 12 minute train ride). The surrounding area is not that appealing and may make some people feel a little uncomfortable. The biggest issue was the phone in the room would randomly ring in the middle of the night which was extremely irritating, however, just unplug the phone from the wall or take it off of the hook, and problem solved!
