RumFish Beach at TradeWinds

It was beachfront. Had awesome amenities. We will definitely stay here again.

Cons - rooms were outdated and smelled mildewy, AC was working partially or needed to be fixed, toilet broke, pool and hot tub could have been cleaner

I had a fantastic experience at RumFish Beach at TradeWinds. The staff were amazing, and the property offers so much, from an incredible selection of restaurants to plenty of entertainment. It was so convenient not having to leave the resort, they have everything on the property, even shops for anything you might need. A well-deserved 5-star rating!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the beach and amenities. It was the perfect place for a special getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

There were a lot of pros though, mostly the amenities. The pools were very nice as were the beach chairs and umbrellas. The restaurants and the café were good. The parking and the amenity fees are pretty steep though. The staff was mostly friendly and accommodating. We were a tad needy with our constant calls. It was very nice of them to move our rooms when we got there. I don’t think I would book again unless they updated the rooms. I have asthma and I left feeling not well.

The property was very clean and the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful! The property was amazing but our room happened to be between two pool areas, both of which were very loud until late hours, making it difficult to sleep until after midnight. Bring ear plugs. Also, a Hilton Honors women kept trying to get us to come to a Hilton Event- she approached me three times, I started to get frustrated with her….she didn’t work there!

We liked the little swimming pools dotted around and its position on the beach. Well positioned for subway, Dunkin' donuts and baskin robbins. It was also a base for a great dolphin trip. Our room was dated and smelt a bit damp. The air conditioning not very effective. There was blood stains on the bedding. Most of the entertainment is in the hotel next door and not in your hotel at all. The hotel runs entertainment by the main pool and plays music so loud we came away to find a quiet pool. No pools are big. Even the main ones in each hotel. We stayed here having done a Florida road trip and this is the only hotel I regret booking and could definitely have done much better. We only stayed two nights though and didn't complain. Technically we had the room we asked for only I hadn't realised the standards were so low. One night we ate in Rumfish grill restaurant with the giant fish tank. It is quite expensive so we expected it to be quite fancy. It was not. It was like a standard family restaurant (like a beefeater) with a fish tank and kids crying and shouting. The food was really nice though. The whole feel of this place is a holiday camp on the beach. The basic rooms fit this vibe too.

Perfect vacation spot to enjoy an amazing beach and lovely amenities of a great resort. We stayed at Rum fish with our two sons who equally enjoyed the beach and amenities. Would definitely come back. Such a good time.
