Pool was amazing, but I imagine on weekends it could be tough to get a daybed. Bed was very comfortable and room was very spacious. Would have liked a desk in my room.
-
Great spot, way too expensive!
-
helpful friendly staff great pool wonderful restaurant price per night seems to be increasing
-
Good for families, pool is very small and not a family hotel. The AC didn’t seem to work fine and the room smelled like pot coming from the vents.
-
Great vibe at this hotel, beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, fun restaurant, pool with pretty views on the hills. Dog friendly. Wifi was not working well, very slow and inconsistent.
-
Good rooms, staff were very nice. Had quite a few days where my room wasn't serviced as requested, and coffee, tea & minibar weren't replenished.

The vibe is very low key hipster. The staff could not have been more pleasant. Convenient quality restaurant downstairs plus Erehwon store right next door. Be aware no one nearby sells coffee until 8am but just a short walk does the trick. The rooms have single serve espresso machines which will do in a pinch. The pool is delightful but small. Sometimes hard to get a spot. But not a deal breaker on staying here again.

Great location
-
The location was great - right next to Erewhon and several coffee shops and restaurants. Appreciate that the pool opened at 7 a.m. There is a lack of places to hang things in the room - really need more hooks or bars to hang towels, for instance. Also a desk would be nice as would complementary coffee and/or happy hour given the price. A fitness room would also be a welcome addition. Also we were told that since we were only there for two days, there would not be housekeeping unless requested. We didn't request and yet housekeeping did come in and made our bed and replaced towels. Not complaining about a clean room but we would have left valuables in the safe if we knew that was the case.

Really terrible experience. They overcharged us by $500 - we essentially paid for 3 nights instead of 2. They don't tell you but they open the pool to the public for a party on Sundays. The music was so loud, the tiny pool was crowded with people drinking and being loud. It was the least relaxing hotel experience I've ever had, and I paid more for it than advertised. They didn't even offer to refund me for the money they charged me incorrectly. Avoid booking this place at all costs.

Very nice staff throughout the hotel. We ate at the Marco Polo restaurant a few times, went to the bar and spent time at the pool. It was a great little getaway.
-
Room was boho, fun and clean. Just perfect for us. Marco Polo was great. We love breakfast and drinks at the bar. Sadly, our schedule didn’t allow us to use the pool this visit. Everyone was welcoming and really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to returning. Thank you.

Nice hotel in a good location. Staff were good. Nice pool area and restaurant. Restaurant and bar were closed a big portion of the time for a large event but it was ok.
-
The stay was peaceful and wonderful because of the kind and helpful staff, the room amenities-snacks and drinks, the restaurant with unique takes on entres and super drinks, room service was efficient with excellent capuchinos in the am. The pool was small, but well used with people enjoying the drinks and music.
-
Zero-star front desk service / the worst. However, the foodservice operations and valet staff are very good. Seems to be management/oversight issues w the core hotel, though.
-
Nothing about the hotel, but I may have forgotten my coat and dustcover in the room's closet. Did housekeeping find anything? Either way, thank you!

Thank you, Miguel and Amber, whose professional yet personable approach at the front desk gave me the time and thought to write the officiant speech for the wedding that brought me to Silver Lake. Nothing about the hotel, but I may have forgotten my coat and dustcover in the room's closet. Did housekeeping find anything? Either way, thank you!
