The foot at the restaurants was great. Also, the atmosphere by the river and live music was very enjoyable. The pool was a little bit small. The outside of the main building look kind of old, and the first floor balconies facing the parking lot looked dirty. However, the inside of the building was okay, including the rooms.

Love that the resort has everything, we didn't need to leave. There are restaurants, and you can have the food delivered to your room or even pool side. Love that the pool is heated (not too hot nor too cold) so its comfortable getting in any time of the day. We come every year and love it each and every time. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay fully. We loved everything!

My room was basically but very clean with great, quiet, air conditioning. They have restaurants on the property and nice amenities, especially rally for families like complimentary bike rentals, kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was nice. Everything was beachy and fun. I'd stay here again.

Good location to so many restsurants and bars. Staff was so friendly, rooms were clean. Coffee and cold water in lobby. Resort fees allow you to take kayaks, paddleboards and bikes. State construction going on in parking lot when we were there made it difficult to sleep later thsn 7 AM. Clean pool and live music, food and marina across street.

Everything was great, clean room, easy access to restaurants, super friendly staff, only thing I wish they would allow dogs in the pool

The set up was different I do not like that. They charge you extra for things that you don't use like the bikes. I never used anything more than a towel there and the TV and I got extra charges. That was not explained to me when I booked this and I will be coming there frequently but will not be staying at this place

I found the staff at the front desk to be personable and helpful from the the time of check in to the time of check out. Our room was clean, bed and pillows clean & comfortable. The room was stocked with towels and essentials, and coffee as well. The staff at the boatique,The Sandbar and the Black Fins Riverfront Grill were personable ,and provided great customer service. The food was also delicious and prepared well. Another part of our stay included a River Cruise with Captain Joe, and 1st mate Laura. Not only did we see Manatees, Dolphins, Blue Herons, Turtles and Alligators, but we were provided with the history of Indian River, it's inhabitants both human & animals from years gone by. We were provided with a rich history by Captain Joe & 1st Mate Laura which made this cruise both fun & enlightening. Captain Joe would stop when he saw the wildlife so we could take pictures. Many thanks to the staff and the whole experience my husband & I had for our 44th wedding Anniversary at Captain Hiram's. I highly recommend Captain Hiram's Resort. We will be back.

We were there for my girlfriend’s birthday, we had a great time. Hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. Food at restaurants was great and we enjoyed the band on Friday night! Only part of our weekend that we didn’t enjoy as much as we had hoped, was the atmosphere at the pool. Almost everyone at the pool was drinking alcohol heavily, even though the signs posted said it wasn’t allowed. The bar on property was even delivering drinks to people after ordering on their phones.

The proximity to the tiki bar and restaurants The pool is really small. The bathtub also needs a non slip pad. It was dangerous.
