Hotel Aluxor SFO

Very close to SFO Airport, and the shuttle service was very convenient. The room was comfortable and included a fridge and microwave, which was very useful. There are also several restaurants within walking distance, including Indian and other Asian restaurants. As I was travelling alone, I felt very safe in hotel area. Although breakfast was not included, public transportation was easy to access. I used the bus, and there was a bus stop right near the hotel. From there, it was easy to connect to BART and travel into San Francisco. It took around one and a half hours to reach the Golden Gate Bridge area and other city attractions. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable place to stay. Since I was travelling alone, I did not feel very safe in the surrounding area at night, as there were very few people around after about 8 pm. I felt a little uncomfortable walking alone, so solo travellers may want to be cautious when returning late. Also, even during summer, San Francisco can be surprisingly cold and windy, especially around the Golden Gate Bridge and other waterfront areas. I would recommend bringing a warm jacket.

The room and lounge area is newly renovated. Hopefully the reception is also renovated as it is a selling point as well.

Comfortable, walking distance to San Mateo with a couple of food places. Coffee in the lobby. SFO shuttle. Missing personal touch. Shuttle only once an hour. Essentially a practical budget choice.

Close proximity to SFO, clean, comfy bed, free parking & WiFi, walking distance to San Bruno / Bart stations for convenient travel to SF for fraction amount of parking fees in SF busy areas. Overall very good value for money. Non-smart TV

Older hotel, but large room and comfortable beds. Okay for one night near airport. Older hotel at first glance. And shuttle bus only comes hourly.

I broke my first rule, staying in a lesser known hotel. I chose this hotel based on reviews, but it just seemed a little off. There was signs of poorly repaired issues all over the place, I was not satisfied with my stay, and would not stay there again. It was clean, but it just wasn’t what I’m used to when I stay at the better known brand hotels. I did appreciate the free parking and I believe with a little bit more detail work it could be a nice hotel. They just need to pay attention to some of the smaller details, the mattress I was on had stains on the boxspring part and it appears they covered it. That was a huge red flag for me.

The staff is always pleasant! A block from a village of restaurants, grocery stores and shopping.

The rooms are spacious, and very comfortable. They look recently renovated, so there is a nice and big closet, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It had a big desk to do work and a very clean bathroom. This is my go-to hotel to stay when having those awful very early morning flights. The front desk area needs to be refreshed. Looking at it you wouldn't know that the rooms are amazing.

Excellent hotel near the airport with bonus of free shuttle provided every hour. Room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom and all amenities you want. Would recommend. Great value also. Nothing - it was a very comfortable stay

The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The staff were warm and helpful, parking was convenient, and the location was great, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

My room was facing east, the airport side so the noise kept me all night though I had earplugs on. The place was more run down than I expected. The only thing I liked was the free shuttle to the airport
