Rugged Country Lodge

Well kept up older facility with charm. It was very hot when we were there and the breakfast area wasn’t air conditioned which would have been helpful. The air conditioning unit in the room worked well.

This was a very pleasant stay with no negative issues at all. It's well-kept with easy parking and is very close to to downtown Pendleton. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom and was well-lit which means a lot when you have work to do!

Our room was small and cute. The breakfast area was very small and with not many options. Also no ice machine. You had to go to front desk for ice, which wasn't always open.

The location was good, quiet and easy to get to and from the freeway. The bathroom was lovely and clean, the sheets soft and fresh. The staff was friendly, and the parking was easy. The exterior spaces were nice and neat. Breakfast could have scored with some strong coffee made with filtered water and a decent sweet roll. The A/C unfortunately brought in the smell from neighboring bathroom fans. The couch upholstery and cushions were not too fresh.

Super clean and the bed was comfortable. They were happy to provide an extra towel and pillow when I asked. We had a problem with the sink not draining and they came straight away to fix it. The location was close to downtown, a short drive to all the places of interest. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. A review said the breakfast was excellent but that's very generous. They did the best they could with the space they had but fell short on delivery. Not many tables in the breakfast room. The waffle maker was old, the batter stuck to it and the instructions to use it needed to be printed clearly rather than the handwritten note on the wall. For three days we were telling people how to use it. Dixie cups were too small for the batter resulting in the waffles falling apart. The other offerings were toast and mini muffins, boiled eggs, apples or bananas, a couple of cereal choices and some yogurt. The mini fridge had low quality gallon jugs of orange juice and there was a coffee pot. If I stayed there again I would bring my own breakfast.

The room was cozy and well decorated. Kind of has a bed and breakfast vibe.

Hotel is short drive from freeway exit but the room was still quiet and clean. Breakfast was included(coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, waffles, toast and bagels to choose from).

Good breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Pendleton in off season isn't too lively but the Rugged Country Lodge was a great stopping point.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable but the air conditioner was 18” from my side of the bed and was very noisy. Breakfast selection was very good

Very clean, staff was friendly. Parking was a little cramped with our 1 ton dually but got it done. Pretty quiet even with the trains going by. Fantastic shower !

Liked the staff and location Beds were uncomfortable, room was hot, there was no space fo4 th3 dogs to go potty or walk and was expensive for the experience
