Good Ol' Days Resort

Was a nice stay for girls weekend.

Our family enjoyed the resort! It was clean, well maintained, and had a great beach area for our kids! Also enjoyed walking into nisswa every morning for stonehouse coffee! Would definitely stay again!

Shower was super cold not sure what the problem was staff did inform us they were having problems but not sure what those were

Good Ole Days Resort is such a warm, family-friendly destination. It is such a restful retreat on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, corn hole, grills, and a fire pit to roast marshmallows and end the evening.

Nice location. Pretty spot on lake. Clean clear water.

Also, there was a domestic argument that woke us up at midnight, but obviously that’s not the resort’s fault. Just added to the ‘ick’.

It was a nice place to stay. The room was very clean.

The resort and area are beautiful. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint, and it may be isolated to our specific room, was that the AC was very loud, and cycled on and off every few minutes all night, even when set fairly high (like 75). That said it was a very hot week, and ear plugs helped.

Need better chairs in rooms.

Great location, clean resort, great lake for kids, lots to do and helpful staff.

Clean, well maintained Room temperature control machinery VERY LOUD and turned on and off every 20-30 minutes ?…making sleep difficult, along with too soft beds! Only sitting room chair in room was child sized!

Darling, well kept resort right on the lake with direct access to the bike trail. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back.

The location was great - so close to the bike path and within walking distance to downtown Nisswa. The deck was nice with chairs provided. The shower was good. It looked newer than the rest of the accommodations. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The beach was nice. The kitchenette was not well supplied. There were 4 plates... that's it! No bowls for eating or covered bowls for storing items in the refrigerator. No utensils for eating. No knives for slicing. A toaster would have been nice too. There were plenty of cupboards for storing things, but nothing to put into them. There were plenty of bed pillows, which was appreciated because I needed to lay on them to get to sleep. The bed was quite hard. Some people might appreciate a firm mattress. Part of the electrical outlet by the bed was inoperable. The lamps seemed very old and the lighting was insufficient, especially at night for reading.

We loved our stay at the resort. The location was walking distance from the cute town of Nisswa and has access to the Paul Bunyan trail right next to the resort. It is really set up like a classic family lake retreat. We booked three nights and then moved further up north to another hotel. We ended up cutting our stay short at the other hotel and came back to the resort for the rest of our trip because we enjoyed it so much.

The room was very nice and grounds well kept. Lodge as well. The trees need trimming to see the lake though.

For staying four nights, I expected some type of room cleaning. They wouldn't empty our garbage and if we wanted fresh towels, we had to bring our used ones to the front desk. Their service wasn't there.

Breakfast was provided. We could use bikes at no cost and the resort was next to bike trail. We also fished from the dock.

Very charming property. Great location in Nisswa. Room was very comfortable and had balcony with view of the lake. Breakfast provided every morning. Property was very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No elevator. Not a major issue since only 2 stories. Small fridge provided but no freezer. Some plates and cups provided but no other eating utensils.
