Pool area under construction, good to see ongoing improvements.

I booked a room on Booking.com and there was no room available, Apparently the Hotel is under renovation and not open. I was charged for a room that was never available, I need a full tefund

We arrived at the hotel, approached the front desk to check in and the employee informed us that they were closed due to renovations and they did not have any heat. There was no attempt at letting us know whatsoever. We called every single hotel in the area and there were absolutely no rooms available at any of them. She was completely unapologetic and we were unable to get a room in Minot.

Renovation going on so not the best. No rating should be given N/A

Location The room was cold the heat didn’t work and for the first night and until 10 am the next morning there was no hot water to shower in

The pool and restaurant is completely closed. This is not on updated on Expedia. The front desk person has zero customer appreciation and actually was rude. The rooms heat doesn't work as there are portable heaters in the room. I won't be back and we usually park and fly a few times a year and stay a few times in fall as we drive through.

The Grand Hotel was pretty quiet during our stay. Sad to find out all the renovations happening, but looking forward to seeing what the new improved amenities will be like.

We ended up staying for 4 hours and then just ended up heading back home when my flight got in. I got the hotel room for my mom and brother who were waiting for me to fly in. Since the restaurant wasn't open there wasn't anywhere for them to eat. This is fine but it should be very clear that these amenities aren't available when booking so people can then decide if they want to get the room or not.

The room was easy to get to. The staff was friendly. We booked for 2 different nights. 12/4/24 We were put into 2 rooms without heat. We requested to be moved, and they were able to accommodate. 12/7/24 We were put into 2 rooms without heat. We requested to be moved, but there were no other rooms available. The heat was an ongoing problem, and we should have been notified in advance. They offered a space heater and blankets. It was 50 degrees in the room when we arrived, and only 63 degrees the next morning with the space heater all night. We requested a refund. The staff said they would refund, but it did not show up on my card.

No shuttle service available the night i arrived at airport. This hotel did have construction going on which was stated but i booked specifically for the shuttle. No restaurant available, just absolutely disappointed 😞 other hotels in the area offered more for same price. Asked to speak to management but never got a response.

Stayed there previous years before flight always enjoyed my stay , but this last one was not up to scale for the price

The heat would not turn down in the room. it kept getting hotter and hotter. 78 degrees, it was horrible and that was with the AC on full blast
-
They brought up a space heater in order be semi comfortable. Restaurant was also closed for remodeling.

It is our place to stay while in North Dakota! I like the location close to the airport and the staff is always friendly! Currently under a remodel and restaurant is closed.

Terrible - old/dated and under renovation - noise as a result, woken up at 7am by contractors. Took 2.5 hours to get checked in (after multiple room changes due to beds wrong, a/c issues, cleanliness), due to heat not working in one area, being given 2 doubles instead of the reserved double kings - no a/c, doors don’t work - no shuttle upon arrival as requested and confirmed with on site staff when we checked in 2 weeks ago. Booked here to save some money and be close to the airport but is not worth the hassle and issues - onsite staff explained new management is the cause, corners being cut, onsite maintenance not being kept up, contractors with no experience and no one checking quality of work. Door knobs from door to door don’t work or require “special” instructions depending on the room. Would not come back nor recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY! (Another couple advised they were moved rooms due to mold, springs protruding from the bed and non working electrical)

Room and bathroom were clean. Bed very comfortable. Needed a new shower curtain and rod as they were rusted, though. Knew about the ongoing construction for the pool when we booked. Didn’t affect our stay but certainly reduced the number of guests, which may have affected staffing. Had to request new towels as the rooms are only cleaned after your third night. Requested at 9am as we were leaving for the day. Were finally delivered around 10pm, after enquiring at the front desk many hours earlier.

This property has been under renovation for the last 9 months. Basically the restaurant, bar, and pool areas. They don't know how long it will last either. The rooms smelled funky, Shower curtains were moldy, and they don't have any TV service (never had it 9 months ago when we stayed either). We did stay in the KING SUITE rooms everytime too. So much for an upgrade. Never going back.. This was the 3rd time within 2 years and same thing everytime.

Staff was friendly and willing to accommodate Renovations ongoing for over a year on same area of hotel. TV's haven't worked in over 9 months. Mold heavy on shower curtain. Room itself smelled funky.

It’s very close to the Minot airport and the Minot State University campus. It’s a big place undergoing renovations. Once complete, it should be very nice. Ongoing renovations. My room was on the top floor in the section being renovated. My room was clearly incomplete. TV wasn’t plugged into anything, drop ceiling tiles missing, and worst of all, the glass door opening out to the poolside walkway had no latch, so not only could I not lock the door, I couldn’t even close it properly. Front desk was dismissive, but eventually sent a facilities tech after I insisted. The tech expressed an apology, but said there was nothing he could do. The hotel was full so I couldn’t be provided another room. I wound up having to wedge a chair between the sliding door and the wall all night.
