Place is beautiful with a lot of style and centrally located in dtla. Reasonably priced for larger suite, but for the price I expected a bit more in the way of creature comforts. There were two robes, some shampoo and conditioner and a mini coffee maker with three pods. Scant….. less than luxurious by all definitions. Additionally there was only one trash can in the room, the outlets all were busted and both tvs never worked. This place surprisingly offers no early or late checkout and the hotel guest services was impossible to reach and valet staff outright insulted a guest of mine. Otherwise fantasticnplace

Great all around property. Will stay there again.

Staff and decor were great Understaffed. Paper thin walls. Restaurant was slow but tried their best due to short staffing. Pool furniture needs updating. Bar staff were incredible Saturday night shout out to the bartender she is amazing!

On the whole, this hotel was very nice. Claudia working in the cafe was a 10 out of 10 - she was attentive, kind and helped us have a great start to our morning. Our check in lady was friendly and efficient. The hotel was spotless and our rooms were cleaned perfectly daily. The hotel roof top bar was fun and had amazing views. The menu for the roof top bar and restaurant below was more high end and just wasn’t appealing to us. Unfortunately, the hostess working in the hotel restaurant had no business being in customer service. The other negative to this hotel was that a person had a dog in their room that continued to bark until midnight. No compensation was given to those of us in the surrounding rooms that had to suffer through the noise and we had to be up at 4am for our travels. The hotel was in a very good location, with walking distance to the food market and other great restaurants. Although we did not have time, we were told that our room key would give us free entry to the Grammy Museum.

-
This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and the experience was pretty consistent - friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, swimming pool with rooftop views, delicious breakfast at the restaurant and good food and drinks at the rooftop bar There was a small issue with the room I'd initially booked not being available, but the staff made sure it's resolved to my satisfaction, which I appreciate

I was blown away by the hotel staff's hospitality and kindness. They went above and beyond to ensure our trip was memorable. The restaurant and bar was beautiful and food was delicious. Even the coffee and croissants at the Cafe were great! Can't say enough good things.

The room was nice. I got chased by a homeless person outside the hotel.

Small and old room

Amazing property and rooftop pool, highly recommended!
-
Per LA or Perla, either way, a brilliant amalgam of classic LA/Hollywood feel basking in the middle of great night spots like The Cicada. Art Deco meets hip along with a rooftop pool and bar. If you love boutique hotels, historic charm, great service and food look no further than Perla.

Fantastic stay, amazing property, beautiful rooms, and the restaurant was delicious. Not sure why it only gets average ratings, but it was really, really tasty.
