Hampton Inn Gloucester

The staff was really good. Keri at the front desk got some fruit for me in the evening. Marie the manager was very pleasant and Maria housekeeping was exceptional. They all had smiles on their faces and were friendly. Work out room was decent and the pool was welcome after a hot day. I really can't say what could be better. They were having some renovations done. Signage was posted to let you know what was going on and the hours it would be preformed. The workers were also polite.

The room was very musty smelling. They brought a fan in the room but took it out two hours later. Breakfast was very good. I have stayed there before and never experienced the bad smell in the room

This is our go to when we come in town from Baltimore for our family church anniversary. Always a nice getaway and quiet stay. So convenient to stores and restaurants. Staff is always friendly and welcoming so thank you for that The only 2 complaints I really have are the pillows are bad. They are so flat and I can’t sleep comfortably. I woke up with a stiff neck and back hurting. The bed was comfortable thank God. Next time I’ll bring my own pillows. The other complaint is the room smelled like mildew. I definitely smell it when the air is blowing out of the vent. I just went to the store and bought febreze. Had it been horrible, I would have went asked to switch rooms Logan did send a text asking how the stay was going. I informed him all was well accept for the pillows. Never received a response back lol but I wasn’t upset

Our family had 4 rooms for our large family that were there for an occasion in the area. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They served a hot and cold breakfast that was 5 stars! Free local newspaper, coffee, and water served all day, along with chocolate chip cookies. My only complaints is the rooms were humid, and it felt like the rugs damp.

The staff was exceptional. I especially wish to recognize Keri. She was at the front desk the first two days that I was there. Helped me with directions and even sent texts to make sure I had found my way, and the second was to wish me a good day. Although there were two others before I left, Keri was exceptional. Never had such a helpful, sweet and caring employee. She deserves accolades! Wasn’t told how often housekeeping cleaned the rooms. Had to sit trash receptacles outside the door to have them emptied. I should have asked.

Breakfast Ok. Found the placement of condiments strange. Ketcup and hot sauce near waffles. No salt, pepper not easily located. Lemon or lime water in lobby was a nice touch Wrong keys given and directed to the wrong room upon our arrival. Correctly promptly. No dairy free creamer or lactose free milk available.

Friendly staff. Continental breakfast was nice. Pool was very clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the coffee was the best! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
