Moxy Columbia Downtown

Loved the location and view of the state house from our room ! Saturday night in the rooftop was busy with everyone from the city enjoying themselves . Still got a good nights sleep and explored on foot many walkable places !

Hello it was a very cozy place to stay but I couldn’t help but to laugh. Only because the room I stayed in was very small. I have never stayed in a place that small before also someone eye lash was on the floor so I don’t know if it was already there or if we brought it in under our shoe. But only because it was small for our taste we will not stay there again but. That’s for us I don’t speak for other people at all.

There’s not parking lot, just valet or a public parking garage.

Everything was nice and staff was great. Parking a bit pricey. The worst part of the stay was how uncomfortable the bed was. Woke up several times due to terrible mattress.

Had a great time! The rooftop lounge was very nice. It was very cool to have to check in at the bar. Great vibes and the food truck has good food. However we did not like not being able to call the front desk from the room and having to go to the second floor from the 11th floor to get our own set of towels from the “stash” closet. It’s a Marriott you guys can afford a room runner. Rooms are incredibly small and the coffee was terrible. But overall enjoyed our stay and will return!

The hotel charged my credit card $330 extra without my authorization on top of me paying everything in full thru Expedia! They told me it was by mistake. My card is still charged and I wasn’t refunded that money! Rooms are extremely small!

The hotel was clean. Check-in can take awhile. One person working the bar and having to check in guests at the same time. The city room views are extremely noisy. We knew there would be some road noise but it was like the windows were open constantly. You get one pillow per person and they are uncomfortable.

The hotel was clean and the staff did a great job in helping me.

incredibly noisy , be prepared this is not a well sound proofed hotel.

Valet takes awhile PARKING.

Mother daughter night away and we had a fabulous time with a drink at check in, walking distance to good restaurants, comfortable room, and night cap on the rooftop bar. Parking

Great location. Across the street from the State Capital building close to everything in the heart of downtown. As with everything in a downtown area, parking is limited to a spot you can find on the street otherwise it’s valet ($33) for ya. Room was great. Modern updates and stylish. Cool bar downstairs and the rooftop bar on the 12th floor offers amazing views of all of Columbia. Bring your wallet though…I had an Old Fashioned with Basil Hayden and then a double Buffalo Trace on the rocks…$66. 2 drinks essentially $33 each. Insanity. Check in staff was ok. Seemed more interested in conversing with each other more so than me standing in front of them. Got the job done though, got my key and finally able to get to my room. I would stay again.

I love the industrial design of property and friend staff

Check out on booking.com says 12pm but it is actually at 11am. The charging for vallet is confusing as well. I was told $33 but my card was attempted a charge of $49.00 then $4900.

Staff was very helpful. Amenities were great. Place was dog friendly. 'Food van' was delicious.

Super cute hotel !!! The complementary drinks I really enjoyed & all the staff was really nice & helpful with everything . I’d definitely recommend ☺️
