The Aurora Inn

The walls were thin so the toddler next store woke me up at 4am. The shower head was under 5 feet high so I had to duck to shower. Restaurant was great. Folks working there are helpful and friendly. It's a value for the price

This was a delightful stay!! They named it well as it had charm, personality and character!! It was immaculate and had special details like white robes and record players in each room. We are hoping to return next time we are passing through the area to make use of the beautiful pool and restaurant.

Room was clean, comfortable and very inviting. We loved the record player in our room! The staff were so nice and helpful and the onsite bar and lounge area were great. Easy drive to the National Park was a plus!

Restaurant is great but does not serve breakfast

I loved the decor of this hotel. It's beautiful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tavern was very quaint and the food was delicious. The only downside was no elevator for the upper floors but I understand why. It would take away from the decor. You will be happy staying here.

The staff was excellent. The hotel is older but clean and well kept. We loved the pool.

The staff was great! The rooms need updating badly. Not dirty, just worn. This is an old property so maintenance is never ending I expect. One glaring deficiency is the lack of smart TVs in the rooms. There was no way to stream content. There was some cable channels and local network affiliates but I guess we just expect to be able to stream content using our personal subscriptions or from our personal devices. The bar and restaurant were both very good and staffed by great people.

I absolutely love this hotel and stay whenever I am in the area. It is so charming and comfortable. Great bar/restaurant for a delicious meal or delightful cocktail before heading off to sleep in their comfortable beds. Large pool is fun if you or the kids like to swim as well. A+

We had a fantastic stay, will be back again!!!

Our one negative is when you looked out the door at the pool there was large trash and discarded items and large weeds. Facility could easily clean this area up.

Excellent restaurant onsite. Beautiful pool. Quaint hotel in a quiet town.

Reviews had placed this “boutique” hotel along the top rated in the area, so expectations were high. But this is not a “boutique” property in any sense that one would expect. There are stained carpets, the rooms and overall conditions are underwhelming. The best parking was reserved for the bar, so arriving in pouring rain with no place to park was not pleasant. The bar seemed popular, but I didn’t use that amenity. Finally, there is nothing around the place in terms of amenities for dining or entertainment (other than the on-site restaurant and bar) and they charge $3.00 for a small snack, so good luck finding something to eat upon a late arrival.

Very musty smell, they have an air quality problem.

Great hotel and restaurant/bar. Would definitely stay here again. Pool is very nice. The property is very clean and well maintained. A++!

Beautiful location. Pool was amazing. Great location. Beds didn’t sleep well. Could feel the springs in the mattress.
